It is a drip method, meaning water is poured into the top and runs down through a bed of ground coffee and a filter directly into a serving container.

It is called this because the container where the coffee is placed is V-shaped and has a 60-degree angle. It has a conical shape, with spiral grooves that create air cushions between the filter and the ceramic cone, which makes the extraction time shorter.

It has a hole in the base to facilitate a homogeneous extraction and that allows you to experiment with various flavours and extraction times through the speed at which the water is emptied. If the water is poured little by little, the coffee will take longer to come out and if it is filled to the top, the liquid will drip faster. It requires a medium-fine grind to achieve an infusion time of approximately 3 minutes. You get an aromatic cup, with body, silky texture, acidity and sweetness.

How to use?

1.- Heat 600ml of water to 95.
2.- Take a paper filter and fold it to place it in the filter holder.
3.- Pour a little water over the entire filter to rinse it and remove the paper taste.
4.- Place 38 grams of ground coffee in the paper filter to prepare three cups.
5.- Pour 90 ml of hot water in counterclockwise circles over the ground coffee.
6.- Let it pre-infuse for 30 seconds so that the coffee particles open up and can get rid of all their flavors and odors.
7.- Pour the remaining water in concentric circles without touching the walls of the filter until reaching 600 ml of water, which is the capacity of our V60.

Recommendations

• Do not let children use the product, do not put it in a place where children can use it and reach it with their hands.
• Do not use fibres or metal spoons inside the V60 jug.
• Do not use metal fibers to clean as it may cause breakage.

Cleaning

• It is recommended to store it in a safe place, away from objects that may scratch it.
• To clean it, do not use thin steel-fibre scouring pads that may scratch the surface.
• It is recommended to wash it with warm water and avoid changing the water temperature during the washing process.
• It is recommended to use liquid soap for washing and soft sponges.
• It is recommended to let the water drain after washing and then dry with a cotton cloth.
